The Ottobock company’s decision in 2016 to refocus its attention on Europe meant coalescing the company’s activities around the Nordic and Benelux markets. This resulted in the emergence of a young and highly international management team whose full potential would have to be awakened through coaching and other development activities. The aim of our collaboration was to prepare the new leadership both as individuals and as a team to achieve success within the new business model and in the different markets.
We applied a variety of approaches and methods to coach and mentor Ottobock’s management in the greater Nordic region: Management diagnostics, 360° feedback and assessment procedures. The multinational management team’s Finnish, Swedish, Dutch, Belgian and Scottish executives took part in many additional strategy conferences on the future of the company in the Nordic and Benelux markets. By simultaneously working on group dynamics both within the team and with its individual members, we helped the leadership cadre in establishing itself as a multifaceted and effective team.
