The Organization

For a leading global manufacturer, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to lead the commercialization and strategy development for ByProducts, aligning with the company’s decarbonization plan.

The Role

The Technical Sales Manager will identify market opportunities, innovate tailored solutions, and remove roadblocks to expand into new sectors. This through creating and executing sales strategies, and maximizing sales, while ensuring plant operations and environmental compliance. Continuous coordination with global stakeholders ensures alignment with business goals and efficient delivery.

The position is based in Luxembourg – relocation or willingness to commute daily is required.

The Ideal Candidate

Background and Experience

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Chemistry.
• 7 to 10 years of work experience in an industrial environment, preferably in building materials (cement, concrete, steel, iron), construction or infrastructure/civil engineering.
• Commercial experience (e.g. developing sales/market/product strategy, developing business, negotiating contracts) and technical sales of products .
• Solid technical understanding of cement/concrete and how to innovate to develop new solutions (valorization) and unlock markets.
• Experience in the European (construction) market, ideally with a network in the construction materials industry.
• Good knowledge of circular economy principles and applications for byproducts / waste streams, especially in the construction field, is a plus.
• Ideally proven experience in managing a team (directly or indirectly).
• Experience in an international/multicultural work environment and willingness to travel frequently.
• Fluent in English. French is considered as a plus.
