Jan Westerink is a seasoned Executive Search professional with 20 years of experience in talent acquisition and advisory within the Consumer and Retail industries across Europe. He started his career at VNU - one of the leading Dutch publishers, where he has been focusing mainly on strategic issues, competitor analysis and due diligence. Subsequently, Mr. Westerink entered the executive recruitment field as a Senior Consultant at an international Executive Search firm, where he had a successful track record in conducting senior level search assignments for the companies both in the Netherlands and across Europe, advancing to a Client Partner position. Prior to joining Pedersen & Partners, Mr. Westerink served as an Executive Vice President heading the Consumer Goods Practice, Europe for the European headquarters of a global Executive Search firm in Amsterdam.
Mr. Westerink holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Economic History from Leiden University, the Netherlands. He is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
