Our client is an internationally recognized organization in the advanced manufacturing sector, seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead their operational transformation and growth.

The Role

The Operations Director, as part of the Management Team, will oversee complete operations, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain management, and logistics. This role will be pivotal in scaling and professionalizing operations, requiring a balance of strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Ideal Candidate

Background and Experience

• At least 20+ years of progressive experience in B2B operations, including managing manufacturing sites and overseeing complex supply chains.
• 5+ years in leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing large teams (300+FTE) and developing organizational capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of improvement tools for manufacturing processes (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
• A proven track record leading an operational transformation (e.g. restructuring, scaling, outsourcing).
• Experience in an international working environment.
• A Master’s degree in a technical or engineering field.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
