In order to keep up with these ongoing changes, we analyze key skills critical to success based on the Kienbaum model for digital competence and show employees and organizations how they can prepare themselves for digital change.
The Digital Readiness Check was developed in scientific cooperation with the Kienbaum Institute for Leadership and Transformation at the International School of Management in Dortmund.

Against the background of unstoppable changes, advancing innovations and increasing complexity in the organization, the need for digital transformation in companies is greater than ever. Because: Digital competence makes companies successful. This is specifically about the skills of the employees. Here too, and especially here, there is a shift from those skills that were important in analogue contexts to those that are now in demand in digitally oriented businesses. The result is that companies need clarity about which digital skills their employees have - and which they don't, which training and support needs can be uncovered and where digital talent lies dormant.
An effective tool for achieving this clarity is the Digital Readiness Check. Scientists and experts with a background in business psychology and aptitude diagnostics work at the Kienbaum Institute and at Kienbaum itself. They make it possible to make digital competence measurable through data-based audits of individuals. These procedures result in reliable results about employees’ digital skills.
