PHISHING ALERT

Stay Alert:

How to Recognize and Prevent Phishing

At Kienbaum, phishing attacks are a recurring issue, where criminals unlawfully use our name and brand. These messages via email, SMS, or WhatsApp appear to come from Kienbaum but contain malicious software or attempt to gain access to personal information and payment details.

Currently, some WhatsApp users are receiving messages from foreign numbers, where individuals pose as Kienbaum employees. These are fraudulent messages. Kienbaum never sends requests or offers via WhatsApp and does not ask for advance payments from candidates.

What to do if you receive a suspicious message:

  • Do not open links or attachments
  • Do not respond to the message
  • Do not make any requested payments
  • Do not share personal information
  • Delete the message when in doubt
  • Report and block the phone number on WhatsApp

Have you received a suspicious message? Contact us via email amsterdam@kienbaum.nl. For more information about spam and phishing, visit the website of Rijksoverheid / Cybercrime en cybersecurity.

The safety of our clients is our highest priority. We investigate and prosecute these incidents legally.
